Sirwoltu<\/h1>\n

The Sirwoltu hiking and ski touring area is shelled several times a year during military artillery exercises. Although army personnel clear the area and defuse unexploded ordnance, it is littered with splinters and other explosion residues. The two Sirwoltu lakes are home to slowly rusting lead particles. My work documents the influence of man on nature \u2013 a military influence, executed with war material.<\/p>\n
