Avalanche dog exercise

Every winter, there are countless avalanches in the canton of Valais. If there is a risk that people have been swept away by the masses of snow, avalanche dogs and their handlers are called out to search for them in the avalanche cone.
In this series of pictures, Roland and his dog Basco practice the emergency.
